Previously i had the problem and the dealer replaced the safety switch on the clurch pedal. I recently replaced the 9 year old battery with a new one. I had previously disconnected the battery cable from the battery and shorted them together to help kill the circuit dead. Corrosion near the battery terminals indicate your battery case might be leaking acid, and that the battery should be replaced. What are common reasons my toyota tundra won't start? I have a 2004 matrix 5 speed manual with an unusual problem.

Starts then back to no more nothing. I would check for power at the fuse for the cluster then the key switch circuits. Car will crank but no start.
